Dental implants are biocompatible titanium posts surgically placed into the jawbone to replace missing tooth roots. Once fused with the bone, they provide a permanent foundation for custom-made crowns, bridges, or dentures that look, feel, and function exactly like natural teeth.
With diligent oral hygiene and regular dental checkups, dental implants can last a lifetime. The titanium post is designed for permanent integration. The porcelain crown or restoration on top may need replacement after 10–15 years due to normal wear, but the implant itself is a lifelong solution.
Most patients report surprisingly little discomfort. The area is thoroughly numbed with local anesthesia before any incision. For anxious patients or those undergoing more extensive work, we offer conscious sedation — you'll be completely relaxed and may not remember the procedure at all. Post-operative soreness is typically mild and managed with over-the-counter pain relievers.
Cost varies depending on the number of implants, need for bone grafting, and type of restoration. We provide a detailed treatment plan with transparent pricing before any work begins. The complete process typically spans 3–6 months from start to finish. This includes the initial consultation, implant placement surgery, a healing period of 3–4 months for osseointegration (the implant fusing with bone), and final crown attachment. In select cases with favorable bone density, we can place a same-day temporary crown immediately after implant placement.
